Banner Children's Specialists (BCS) is seeking a full time, board certified PEDIATRIC CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON to help lead our growing program in the Phoenix Metro Area. The successful candidate must have training and extensive experience in the evaluation, management, and surgical treatment of congenital heart disease in patients ranging from newborns to adults. Candidates that are board certified in congenital cardiothoracic surgery are preferred. Duties for the position include supporting the team in developing a premier children's cardiac program in Arizona. The position will primarily be based at Cardon Children's Medical Center (CCMC) in Mesa, AZ.
Serving a pediatric population of over 350,000, CCMC is a state-of-the-art, 206-bed children's hospital that was opened in November 2009 and provides comprehensive pediatric care provided by specialists with pediatric training in Orthopedics, Nephrology, Urology, Neuropsychology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Pulmonology, ENT, Endocrinology, Plastic Surgery, Radiology, Neonatology, Intensive Care and Infectious diseases.
